Few cool things on the web...

Being in technical support i'm allways asked to find tools to optimize systems.
well here are a few of some that i found.

www.tune-up.com -> all around system optimizer. free 30 day trial
hijackthis is a util that will allow you to see what suspicious software might be running on your pc.
Adaware of course is one of my favorites to remove spyware..

as an anti-virus i'm running Nod32 i find it's one of the best and not to intrusive out there.
